“ Best poke in DTC. Tastes like something I would get back home in Huntington Beach. It is my new lunch spot. ”
“ Delicioso lunch spot in the heart of the Bellview shopping plaza. Pokeworks has super fresh poke bowls, chipotle style. I just let the staff make my bowl as it was intended, but man do they have a banger! I really enjoyed spicy ahi the best but the Hawaiian is also great. Highly recommended little lunch spot. ”
“ Fresh, clean and great service with a friendly staff. Everyone was willing to explain the process of building a bowl ”
“ I got to try Pokeworks at a Yelp event and boy it was delicious! I tried the spicy ahi, Hawaiian ahi, and yuzu ponzu salmon. My favorite was the spicy ahi (Ahi tuna, cucumber, sliced onion, edamame, Sriracha Aioli flavor, masago, green onion, sesame seeds, onion crisps, shredded nori served over a bowl of white rice) - it was fresh, flavorful and light. Also, the staff was so nice and helpful with their recommendations. Can't wait to try this place in person when I'm in the area! ”
“ I work just around the corner so this is a frequent lunch choice. The ingredients are always super fresh and usually order the salad base. They get super busy during the lunch hour so ordering ahead for picking is a good option. ”
“ The garlic spam musubi is great and decently priced. It is definitely a breath killer with the fresh garlic but so delicious. The place is Subway-style ordering - build your burrito or sushi bowl from the mix-ins or choose a pre-selection that they build in front of you. The employees are paying attention and are personable here. When I asked for no green onions the employee asked if the white and fried onions were okay and offered to take them off if needed. The burrito was filling and big enough for two people who aren't too hungry to share. ”
“ I love Pokeworks! It is a chain and I first found out about it when I lived in the DMV. When I saw they had a location in DTC I had to check it out. When I visited I was helped right away and the staff were friendly. I did the create your own bowl and all of the ingredients inside of my bowl were fresh! My go to order if you want to replicate and like spicy is: half brown rice, half greens, spicy tuna for protein and/or spicy salmon, cucumbers, sweet onions, cabbage, sweet corn, edamame, serrano peppers, pokeworks classic and sriracha aioli, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, with ginger on the side. So delicious! ”
“ Where has this been all my life!? Not sure why this is my first time enjoying a poke bowl, especially since I love sushi, but it is. I ordered for pick up since this place is around the corner from my work, then walked my happy but over. I ended up being 10 mins early and the gentleman was not only quick to get it made, but friendly! Good customer service is something I value so much. The ambiance was pretty clean and efficient, nothing crazy just comfortable. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Food was simple but delicious. I enjoyed a bowl with spicy ahi, lobster (think it's imitation), brown rice, edamame, and cabbage. It honestly felt balanced and not heavy at all. ”
“ I took my kids here after a haircut nearby because they love poke bowls (expensive kiddos). As some have said, the portions are a bit small for the price, but they have a very "chipotle-like" setup and lots of options. Came with a little bowl of miso soup as well, which was a nice addition. We'll definitely be back. ”
